Satisfactory

This text did meet my expectations for my intended purpose and level of use. However, as another review mentioned, there are several editing problems that go beyond minor grammatical errors. Sometimes they are a little humerous, like page 301, which has two diagrams in correctly labeled. It is beautifully illustrated with good use of color. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

From 3rd year medical student with a passion for Neurology...

Having an insatiable thirst for all things neurology, this is my 3rd tome of clinical neurology.
My main complaints lie with the numerous editing and grammatical errors that seriously distract from trying to gleen knowledge from the text and diagrams.
For example there is a diagram of the open medulla on pg. 289 that shows arrows pointing to the various cranial nerve nuclei which is missing what one of the arrows is supposed to show (arrow with no description/indication of what that part is supposed to be (spinal tract and nucleus of CN V?)).
There are some interesting rare conditions that I haven't seen covered in other books, but even some of these are frustrated by incorrect labelling (Bungarotoxin of the Many-banded Krait sea snake comes from BungaRUS multicinctus, not Bungaro multicinctus). It's many little things like this that take the book down a couple of stars for me as this is a medical text and should be better put together and loved than this.
